Breakfast Pitta Recipe

This quick and easy breakfast pitta is the perfect way to pack more protein and veggies into your morning. Golden, gooey eggs and fresh chopped salad seasoned with lemon, salt and pepper and encased in a pillowy soft Warburtons pitta take this recipe to the next level. Serve with a drizzle of chilli butter over the top!

How to make

  1. Boil the water on a medium-high heat. Once boiled, carefully place your eggs in. Boil for 8 minutes to get hard jammy eggs, then run them under very cold water until cool.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the butter on medium heat along with the spices for 2 minutes.
  3. For the chopped salad: finely dice all veggies and season with salt, pepper and lemon.
  4. Assemble the pitta with yoghurt on the bottom as the 'glue' to hold the salad in. Place in the fresh herbs and jammy eggs on top.
  5. Drizzle the spiced butter and serve!
