Cloud Eggs Recipe

Light as air yet satisfyingly filling, these cloud eggs make the best breakfast or brunch dish! Not only are they irresistibly tasty, they’re also fun to make and destined to be the envy of your Instagram followers. A fluffy, pillowy texture and glossy runny yolk create a delightfully delicious flavour and picture-perfect finish. Learn how to make yours below.

What you'll need

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg

How to make

  1. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 230°C.
  2. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Save the yolk for later!
  3. Place the egg white into a small bowl and whisk with an electric hand whisk at high speed until a soft peak forms.
  4. Sprinkle a little bit of salt and pepper into the folds.
  5. Spoon the fluffy egg white from the bowl onto a greasing paper-lined small plate.
  6. Carefully place the egg yolk into the centre of the fluffy egg white.
  7. Put the egg into the air fryer or oven and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Place on a plate and season with salt and pepper to serve!
