Baked Egg Buns Recipe

These loaded cheesy egg buns are going to be your latest breakfast obsession. Trust us! Deliciously soft, light, and fluffy Warburtons rolls are filled with oh-so-tasty eggs, creamy cheese, and pesto and baked until golden brown. It’s a guaranteed winner for the whole family!

How to make

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place all the rolls into an oven-safe dish and hollow out the middles to create a well.
  3. Brush the well with red pesto and sprinkle a bit of cheese into it too.
  4. Crack an egg into each well and sprinkle with both cheeses.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and extra pesto over the top.
  6. Bake on 180°C for 15-20 minutes depending on how you like your eggs cooked.
  7. Serve when the rolls are golden, and the cheese is bubbly!
