Egg and Cheese Flatbreads Recipe

A quick and easy breakfast or brunch, these egg and cheese flatbreads are a firm favourite with kids and adults alike. Soft, creamy scrambled eggs are paired with melted cheddar cheese and topped off with a fiery burst of sriracha sauce. Need help perfecting your scrambled eggs? How to make

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Alternatively, you can use the grill.
  2. Crack the egg into a small bowl and add the milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  4. As the butter foams, tip in the egg mix and stir. Don’t whisk!
  5. Add the spinach leaves and stir continuously to break the eggs up and help them to scramble. Stir for 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Once the eggs are scrambled and the spinach wilted, take the pan off the heat.
  7. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the flatbread. Place the flatbread in the air fryer for around 5 minutes.
  8. Remove the flatbread from the air fryer and top with the scrambled egg. Season with salt and pepper and a generous dollop of sriracha sauce.
