Cinnamon Sugar Toast Rolls

These tasty cinnamon sugar toast rolls are the perfect sweet treat for any time of day. Made with the soft, fluffy slices of Warburtons Toastie, rich, creamy unsalted butter and our very own golden-yolked, free-range eggs, they’re a simple yet satisfying delight.

How to make

  1. With a rolling pin, roll each side of bread out until it’s thin.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sugar, butter and cinnamon until well incorporated.
  3. Spread the cinnamon mixture over the rolled-out bread slices and roll each slice of bread up.
  4. Into another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  5. Place each cinnamon toast roll into the eggy mixture, making sure each side is coated.
  6. In a well-heated and buttered pan, fry each toast roll until golden and crispy on each side.
  7. Cover in sugar and drizzle over maple syrup or golden syrup.
