Banana Oat Pancakes Recipe

How to make

  1. Place the banana slices into a medium bowl and add sugar. Stir until the banana slices are thoroughly coated.
  2. Place the oats, egg, milk, flour, and baking powder into a large bowl and mix with a hand whisk until smooth. Be careful not to overmix!
  3. Heat a frying pan or griddle on medium-high heat and coat with vegetable oil.
  4. For each pancake, pour 60ml of the batter into the pan or griddle.
  5. Top with the sugar-coated banana slices and let fry for about 3 minutes or until bubbles begin to appear.
  6. Flip over and fry for a further 2 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately with a drizzle of warm honey or maple syrup.
