Dreamy Valentine's Day Chocolate Waffles

Make a beautiful breakfast for the one you love with this chocolatey treat anyone would love waking up to. Homemade using our favourite magnificently creamy chocolate milk from Tom Parker Creamery, it’s the most decadent way to start Valentine’s Day, and goes perfectly with a luxurious serving of double cream, fruit, or even chocolate mousse for extra indulgence. Serve alongside some fresh orange juice, rich coffee and pastries for the most perfect breakfast ever.

What you'll need

  • A pinch of salt
  • 60g chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • 280g plain flour
  • 2tsp granulated sugar
  • 350ml Tom Parker Chocolate Milk
  • 125ml coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to make

  1. Add the beaten eggs, chocolate milk and coconut oil to a large mixing bowl, and beat until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add the vanilla extract, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder to the mix, continuing to stir until everything is combined and the mixture is thick and smooth.
  3. Roughly stir in the chocolate chips until they’re spread out amongst the mixture.
  4. Spoon the mixture into your waffle maker, using it as the instructions direct.
  5. Serve the waffles however you like – of course, Tom Parker’s luxurious double cream is the perfect partner, but be sure to check out our sweet preserves and fresh fruit for the tastiest toppings.
