Kefir, Lime, Garlic and Parsley Dip

Whatever you’re grilling, every barbecue needs a good selection of sauces and dips, and a homemade one is an absolute must. Satisfyingly simple to make, this zesty kefir sauce is a great way to use up some homegrown herbs, and adds a pop of amazingly fresh taste to so many different dishes. Try it as a dip for chicken wings, ribs, onion rings, or potato wedges, or dollop it in a burger.

What you'll need

  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • 230ml Good Company Kefir
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 100g parsley (leaves and stem)
  • 1 small lime
  • 3 garlic cloves

How to make

  1. Start by peeling the garlic cloves and chopping off the ends.
  2. Next, juice the lime.
  3. Put the garlic, parsley salt and pepper together in a food processor, and blitz for two or three seconds.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, and stir in the kefir and lime juice until fully combined.
  5. Garnish with an extra sprig of parsley, and serve.
