How To Keep Your Milk Fresh on The Doorstep

Keeping your milk delivery cool and fresh all year round is much easier than you think! Cool boxes, milk minders, camping coolers – there’s endless ways to make sure your milk is always at its best. Follow our top tips below to learn more.

Summer in Britain may leave a lot to be desired, but that doesn’t mean we’re strangers to a scorcher or two. And while we personally love to feel the hot rays of the sun on our skin, our milks don’t.

Enter our trusty 100% recyclable milk minder! Ta-dah. Great for warding off the summer heat, our durable foam milk bottle holder is packed with thermal insulation that’s even more effective than wood, cotton or cork. Impressive, right? All you need to do is put it on your doorstep, and your local milkman will pop your glass-bottled milk inside.

Top tip: To keep your milk extra cool, drop a frozen ice pack or cool pack in!

Of course, just like our range of milks, we’re all about choice. So, as an alternative, you can leave a cool box or bag out for your milkman to pop your milk and morning goods in. Personally, we’re big fans of our reusable Milk & More hessian cool bags. Not only are they seriously good looking and great at keeping your milk cool on the doorstep, they’re also a dream for picnics and days out.

Prefer to make your own? Thrifty, we like it. Well, there’s plenty of alternative options for keeping your milk fresh and cool on the doorstep. Why not repurpose an old camping cooler by lining it with ice packs? Or place an insulated grocery bag inside a sturdy box!

Most importantly, let us know where you’d like your fresh British milk and goodies to be left! Maybe there’s a shady spot by the side of your house or a shielded area by your back gate? Just leave a note in the delivery instructions in your account and we’ll pass on the info to your local milkman.
