What you'll need

  • Splash of honey
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp semi-skimmed milk
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 20g raisin granola
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 medium free-range eggs
  • 2 slices white or brown bread

How to make

  1. Carefully crack the eggs into a small bowl. Add the milk, honey, and cinnamon, and beat together.
  2. Melt the butter in a large non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Tilt the pan to move the butter.
  3. Dip the bread into the egg mixture, making sure each piece is entirely coated.
  4. As soon as the butter begins to foam, add the bread and fry on each side for 1 to 2 minutes, or until it turns golden brown.
  5. Transfer from the pan to a plate and top with the banana slices, raisin granola and honey. Serve immediately.
